Distress Spritzer, Distress Markers and Stencils oh my...

Hi friends! Hope you all had a great weekend.
I was so happy to see sunshine on Sunday!

I've been playing with the new Tim Holtz Distress Spritzer! I LOVE IT…the effect is like
airbrushing…and it's so easy to use. The Spritzer can be used with other markers, actually most markers. It will work with Distress Markers, Copics, Sharpies, Paint Pens and more.

This card features the use of a stencil with the Distress Spritzer and Distress Markers.

Tape the stencil down to white card stock.

Mask off your card stock where the stencil doesn't cover.

Choose your marker colors. For my card I used the colors of the rainbow.

Load your marker into the collar with the brush tip at the air hole. Tighten the screw to hold the marker in position. Be sure the tip of the marker is over the air hole of the Spritzer.

When using the Spritzer hold the Spritzer upright so the air blows across the marker and onto the paper. Squeeze the bulb to blow air across the tip of the marker. Use short burst of air.

Start at the top and work down.

Add color as desired.

If your working on an area larger then your stencil you will need to reposition the stencil to cover the entire card.

Continue adding colors.

Don't you just love the effect of the Spritzer and stencil together! It's a match made in heaven.

This is a close up! Just tiny little dots. Such a cool effect huh!!

Tie jute around colored piece and adhere to colored card. Stamp the message from the new hashtag set and use foam tape to adhere over jute.

Another new favorite of mine is the Hashtags stamp set inspired by Mario. Thank you Tim and Mario! Love this!!

Have a fabulous week!
